We will sponsor clubs, run a tightly coordinated media campaign, and purchase targeted advertising in order to carry our message to American soccer supporters, potential club investors, players, coaches, and advertisers.  We will pry professional soccer out of a system that has stifled it for a century.

 

Deregulation may not give us the best clubs in the world within a month, a year or a decade. But it will remove the shackles that the single entity closed league model has placed on them. 

 

It will lead to new clubs cracking the top division based on the quality of play, not on the depth of their pockets or via a nod from league executives.  It will give us the most unprecedented period of growth in U.S. Soccer history.

 

Together, we will lead the way to a new pyramid with one hundred sixty clubs in eight connected leagues, witness the birth of tens of new lower division clubs actively recruiting hundreds of American  players and staff, finally bite into millions of existing American supporters, and create millions of new converts.
